With the growth of the film industry outside of Hollywood, CA, we wanted to provide fellow independent film makers with a venue to display their creative work and share their creative ideas. The Festival intends to inspire filmmakers and audiences alike, to provide exposure to those who might have otherwise gone unseen, and to further promote the emerging filmmaking industry EAST and OUTSIDE of Hollywood, and BEYOND.
The Festival gives filmmakers the chance to have their work shown and critically judged in Austin, TX. The Hollywood East Film Festival specializes in new ideas and creative works from local, national and international filmmakers.
The 2010 Hollywood East Film Festival will be held November 5th-7th, 2010
HEFF will be screening films at The Playhouse Theatre.
