A master of the Telecaster across all genres, Volkaert strums honky-tonk to blues over old-school Western swing beats. It has been said that Redd is a guitarist, soon-to-be-guitar-legend. He has recorded and toured with Merle Haggard and Dale Watson, and now with Haybale, he is well known through Austin, Texas, and the rest of country. With an unmatched fluency in twang and a loopy sense of humor, Volkaert showcases his jaw-dropping musicality as he wantonly jumps between hardcore honky tonk, western swing, and rock.
