Annual run gets first peek at Trail of Lights.Who says a holiday has to just be about massive amounts of food, excessive quantities of libations, and loads of less than physical activity? With the Trail of Lights 5K, you can run, walk, or meander the 3.2 mile course through Zilker Park and preview the Trail of Lights before anybody else.
This year marks the 15th running, and it takes place on December 13th, at 6:30pm. Besides the good exercise, participants also receive a super sweet (long sleeve!) t-shirt.
Entry fee is $22 if received before by 12/10; $25 after that date. Children eleven and under register for $17. Stay tuned for info on how to register. The city will open registration in late November.
