 A Retrospective Exhibit: at the South Austin Museum of Popular Culture. As most know, many-talented Micael Priest, former Art Director and MC for the Armadillo WHQ, is especially famous for his cosmic cowboys. As the Museum's Director, Leea Mechling, says..."Priest has given us a vantage point from which to view a colorful cultural phenomenon.
With a fondness for horses, a gift for lifelike, action-packed caricature, and a formidable facility for lettering and typography, Priest created the graphic landscape out of which one cannabis-toking cowboy after another stepped into the real world.
