Carley Wolf

Carley WolfNothing restores my faith in humanity like hearing a young undiscovered singer song writer. By undiscovered I mean you better hear Carley as soon as you can if you want to catch the? "unaffected by the music business" version. I heard her for the first time a few nights ago at a birthday party in a room full of people talking and laughing. This kind of thing rarely happens where you suddenly realize you're hearing the real thing....
but from where I was standing it was instantly apparent I was hearing fully developed songs performed without effort and with an original flare.? She sounds like her mother is Billy Holiday and her
aunt is Emmie Lou Harris. She says her father raised her playing old timey acoustic stuff and all I have to say is " I hope you're happy Dad cause every body else is going to be!'". I've been listening to her 5 song C.D. each day to make sure I'm not imagining things and I feel more sure each time she will be noticed soon by those that can make things happen. The metaphor that comes to mind is from a different genre but the way it looks to me is she is "standing next to a mountain and she will chop it down with the edge of her hand". So there it is folks...go to carleywolf.com and check her gypsy folk rock world out.....soon you'll be able to say "i knew about her before it all happened!"??
