Performing:
Flosstradamus - Flosstradamus, the oft-mentioned Chicago DJ duo comprised of J2K (Josh Young) and Autobot (Curt Cameruci) have been dominating the party scene nationwide with their tag-team DJ sets (3 turntables, 2 mixers) for just over a year and show no signs of slowing down. But lets get one thing straight, for the record: no more Wu-Tang requests, please! Both established DJs in Chicago prior to their alliance as Flosstradamus, J2K and Autobot initially linked up while DJing a house party together in 2005, decided to start performing as a duo, and the rest is history. Gathering vast influences from their respective backgrounds in punk and hip-hop, Flosstradamus brought normally divided crowds together with their unique mixes of Baltimore club, hip-hop, house, obscure remixes, and juke. A monthly party soon followed (Get Outta The Hood) at Chicagos Town Hall Pub, and within a year Flosstradamus turned a stagnant bar into the proverbial place-to-be, lines stretching down the block while sweaty kids crowd surf and get down inside.
DJ Car Stereo Wars Mash-up DJ Chris Rose performs as Car Stereo (Wars) throughout the trendiest dance spots, where he delivers a pop culture buffet by pulling together interesting, high-energy song combinations that keep sweaty dancers on their feet. As the Statesman described him, Car Stereo (Wars) is a one man Big Bang, mash-up maestros like Girl Talk and Diplo.

The Venue: Seaholm Power Plant (Downtown) 214 West Avenue Austin, TX 78701. The decommissioned Seaholm Power Plant has been virtually out of reach for all Austinites since its construction in the 1950's. For years, the Art Deco building has held a great deal of mystery to passersby due to its looming presence and restricted access. But things changed in October as Rare Magazine was given access to Seaholm to host the first large scale public events at the power plant.
After a very successful weekend doing after-parties for ACL Fest, we are opening up the doors to the inside of the plant and hosting 2010 Uncorked. Guests and attending artists will encounter an unrivaled experience, as the industrial mammoth is turned into a full scale event space with lounges, VIP booths, huge dance floors and multiple bars. Never before has an event with this caliber of production taken place within Seaholm. Ilios Lighting will be helping Seaholms beauty shine through the night, keeping the party aglow and the impeccable sound engineering company, Nomad Sound, will anchor a top notch production staff for the event. While we do recommend a taxi cab bring you to the event and see you home, ample onsite valet parking available
