Mouse and the Traps...Lost Sessions
Written by Fred Mitchim
Mouse and the TrapsMouse and the Traps.....Lost Sessions

I think it was 1971 when I was told about a killer rock band with an unbelievable guitar player that was playing around east Texas. They had a great name...Mouse and the Traps... I never had the pleasure of catching them but I did see the unbelievable guitar player "Bugs Henderson" at the Armadillo World Headquarters around '74......drop everything and go see him if you ever get the chance.

So this new C.D. has surfaced with a batch of studio tunes and three live cuts that we're recorded in the early eighties. You wouldn't know it though because there is nothing dated about the production or the material. Ronny Weiss wrote most of it and sang almost everything and this guy probably should have moved to L.A. or New York. If you're a world class talent its going to be rough getting noticed around Nacogdoches. His delivery and his unusual voice stand out amongst forest of voices we must all wander through. These guys were on a roll when they recorded this and you will feel it so here is the info...
