4th of July celebrations are plentiful here in Austin, TX on the anniversary of our Independence.

Saturday, July 3 - .
Sunday, July 4 - Austin Symphony Concert & Fireworks The largest 4th of July event in the city, with a yearly attendance of some 100,000, this Austin tradition is a must see for first time visitors and locals alike. The performance begins right around sunset and includes a rousing rendition of the "1812 Overture" (including canon fire from actual 75-millimeter Howitzers) before the fireworks show starts at 9:30pm. The event is free and seating is available throughout the park. Because of the large crowds, it is recommended to arrive early to find parking and a good viewing spot.
Whatever you decide to do on July 4th weekend, please make sure you do it safely.
