
On March 16th the 13th Floor Elevators were inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame at the Austin Music Awards!
13th Floor Elevator lead singer/songwriter Roky Erickson is featured in several other events in Austin in the next couple weeks including playing live himself, read on for more information March 14th, 16th, 18th the World Premiere of the documentary movie,You're Gonna Miss Me- the Roky Erickson Story! March 18 around 4:00 PM, Roky will be signing autographs at Wild About Music on E. 6th as Kevin Phillips guest. The new book will be available there too.
March 18 at 8:00 PM at the South Austin Museum of Popular Culture: Roky Erickson / the 13th Floor Elevators. This show is a benefit for the Roky Erickson Trust with a suggested donation of $5. The entire run of the exhibit is from the 12th to the 20th. For more information you can go to SAMOPC.com
March 19 the 3rd Annual Roky Erickson Psychedelic Ice Cream Social takes place at Threadgills WHQ and yes: Roky will be singing Starry Eyes with the Explosives!
