Pennybacker (360) Bridge

Austin's Pennybacker Bridge, commonly called the 360 Bridge, is an extraordinary site. Standing atop one of the highest points in Austin, the bridge resembles a ladder which houses Highway 360 beneath it without ever touching the water below. The rust colored steel bridge folds over Lake Austin, which feeds off the Colorado River and is widely considered one of the most scenic urban drives in Central Texas.

Mount Bonnell

Mount Bonnell is Austin's best hilltop view to gain a general perspective over the area and offers unrivalled views of Lake Austin, the Hill Country and the Austin city skyline. Named after the journalist and soldier who fought in the Texan struggle for independence, William Bonnell, Mount Bonnell is a natural limestone formation popular as a picnic spot or hiking area. It is the highest point within Austin City Limits at 785 feet and one of Austin's oldest tourist attractions being documented as far back as 1850.
