NEW DATE Sunday March 14TH!, 2010 from 10 am to 5 pm. The Kite Festival will be held in Zilker Park on the Polo Fields (where the moontower is). This is just across the street from our normal location. Because of the construction, there is not enough room in the park for public parking. FREE park and rides are at Downtown state garage E at 1604 Colorado and at the Toney Burger Center at 3200 Jones Road. |

 Lake Travis chosen to host AquaPalooza, The Sail and Ski Center announced Thursday it’s been selected to host AquaPalooza’s Signature Event this year. AquaPalooza is self-touted as “The World’s Largest Boat Party.” Organizers said they broke their own record, with a grand total of 15,600 boats and 84,000 people last year. The event was created as a series of on-water celebrations held during the last two weekends in July. It was created by Sea Bass Boats as a free event open to boaters and non-boaters alike. AquaPalooza has featured artists like Alan Jackson, Taylor Swift, Soul Asylum and more. The event will be held on Lake Travis, July 31. |
