While big name headliners grab a lot of focus, year in and year out it’s several second- and third-tier acts that put on the most killer sets at ACL. That’s especially comforting this year with a couple headliners having to bow out. (At least they’re for legitimate reasons, unlike Amy Winehouse’s “fatigue.”) To help you wade through the list of less familiar names (as well as the overblown ones), here are austin.com’s recommended picks.
