 Zilker Hillside Theatre Family entertainment fit for the theater lover. Oh, sweet summertime. With hot, mid-year days packed with slurping down snow cones and showing off tricks on the diving board, one may question how to fill those cool breezy evenings with the family. Luckily, Austin has several volunteer thespian organizations that dazzle audiences annually with free family-friendly summer musicals. Both the Austin Summer Musical for Children and Zilker Theatre Productions are dedicated to celebrating the art of theater, putting on shows year after year that both children and those young at heart can enjoy. |
