 Famed Austin bridge expected to be renamed for Richards. The Austin City Council is expected to rename a bat-famous bridge for late former Gov. Ann Richards at the Thursday meeting. The Congress Avenue Bridge is internationally known ? at certain times of the year ? as home to a large Mexican free-tailed bat colony.
