?Latin-Americans are lazy,? so goes a typical comment by some people from the United States. And though the comment is usually used negatively, this stereotype is often borrowed by artists of Latin-American origin to help create an image that demonstrates that Latin-Americans are
anything but lazy. Such images can be found in the collection of prints made through Austin?s Serie Project.

There is no place like home.
It is always exciting to go on vacation.....to get
away from everyday life.....see a new exciting place
for the first time....
But it always feels good to return to familiar
surroundings.
Broken Teeth just completed a 30 day USA tour.....with
a friday night show in El Paso....before Saturday's
performance at Redrum in Austin.
In my opinion, bands get better on the road.....
and Saturday night Broken Teeth proved my point.
This band never disappoints. They consistently put on
a good rock and roll show.
Of all the times I have seen Broken Teeth.....this
show ranks near the top...if not the best outing
The crowd was great....enthusiastic, loud, proud,
etc..
Jason looks exactly the same as he did in 1994.
And he proves my next point.
Rock and Roll keeps you young.
How many 63 year-olds are in as good of shape as Mick
Jagger? Not many 57 year-olds can keep up with Ted
Nugent. Phil Mogg looks like a Golden Glove contender
at age 58. Paul Rodgers is in his mid 50's and could
pass for 35...easy. Ronnie James Dio, John Waite,
Rudolph Schenker....and the list goes on and on.
of course, it helps to avoid drugs and alcohol.
apparently nobody informed Vince Neil of that
fact....or Jani Lane...or Steven Adler....and that
list goes on and on.
Bobby Blotzer.
Just kidding.....JUST KIDDING.
Austin is a great place to come home to....I think
sometimes people who live here take it for
granted...those people need to move away for awhile.
