 One of Austin's music legends, club owner, music lover and promoter Clifford Antone,56, has died of an apparent heart attack. Antone's is Austin's premire Live music/blues club and has been for 31 years. From Steve Ray Vaughn to BB King the clubs has been one of the live music capitol of the world's most famous venues and this was due to this man's love of music.  As part of its 2006 season, the Austin LUNA Chix triathlon team will have its annual Breast Cancer Fund fundraiser at the Lotus Asian Art & Antiques Gallery, 1201-B West Sixth Street, on Sunday, June 18, from 6pm to 9pm. Suds on Sixth is free, but fifteen-dollar donations per person are welcome at the door. 100% of the event's proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Fund. |
